About the IKE PABX 16 Extensions
The IKE Telephone System PABX with 16 extensions is an office phone system that links up to 16 telephones through one central unit. A PABX (private automatic branch exchange) lets staff call each other internally and share outside lines.
Key Features
With 16 extensions, a PABX gives a medium-sized office, school or hotel its own internal phone network. Staff can transfer calls, call each other by extension number and share a small number of outside lines instead of needing one for every desk.
Where It Fits
It suits offices, schools, clinics, hotels, factories and shops with several desks or rooms that need to talk to each other.
Installation and Care
Mount the unit in a ventilated, secure place such as a server cabinet, wire each extension to it and connect it to power and your outside lines. Programme extension numbers and call rules following the manual, and use a UPS so calls do not drop in a power cut.
Common Questions
How many outside lines can it take? That depends on the model, so please ask Vsonic for the number of lines and the phones it supports. Do I need special phones? Many PABX systems work with standard phones, but please confirm the type of handsets this unit needs.
