Xprinter Thermal Receipt Printer (Large): Overview
The Xprinter Thermal Receipt Printer (Large) is a desktop thermal printer for printing receipts, orders and tickets at a till. Xprinter is a well-known maker of point-of-sale printers, used by shops, restaurants, pharmacies and supermarkets.
Features and Benefits
A thermal receipt printer prints by heating special paper, so it needs no ink or toner, only paper rolls, and it prints fast and quietly, which suits busy counters. This is the large model; large and medium versions are usually distinguished by paper width and body size, so ask Vsonic to confirm the exact paper width before buying rolls. Many models connect by USB and some add Ethernet or Bluetooth, so check the connection that suits your POS software or phone. An Xprinter is a low-cost, dependable choice for businesses that need to issue receipts all day.
Using and Caring for It
Load a thermal paper roll with the heat-sensitive side facing the print head, close the cover firmly and print a test receipt. Connect it to your computer, tablet or POS system by the supplied cable and install the driver if your system needs one. Keep the printer away from heat, direct sun and liquids, clean the print head gently with an alcohol swab when prints fade and store receipts in a cool, dark place because thermal print fades with time.
