PKCELL 9V Ultra Alkaline Battery: Overview
The PKCELL 9V Ultra Alkaline Battery is a 9-volt battery, the rectangular type with two snap terminals on top. It powers smoke alarms, multimeters, wireless microphones, guitar pedals, toys and many small electronic devices.
Features and Benefits
A 9-volt battery is built from several small cells joined together, and alkaline versions give steady power for a long time in low-drain devices such as smoke alarms. Fresh batteries are especially important in smoke alarms, which need regular replacement to keep working. Alkaline cells hold their charge well in storage, so spares keep in a drawer for months. Wireless microphones and similar audio gear often use 9V batteries, and a fresh one gives cleaner sound.
Using and Caring for It
Match the snap terminals to the device’s battery clip, replace the battery as soon as a smoke alarm chirps and remove batteries from devices you will not use for a long time. Store spares in a cool, dry place away from metal objects that could touch both terminals, and dispose of used batteries responsibly. Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
