Dell Chromebook 3100 (CRJ7F) 11.6″ HD Laptop, Intel® Celeron®, Chrome OS

Dell Chromebook 3100 CRJ7F: Overview

The Dell Chromebook 3100 (CRJ7F) is a rugged 11.6-inch Chromebook built for students and schools. It runs Google’s Chrome OS, which is fast, simple and secure.

Features and Benefits

The Chromebook 3100 is designed to cope with life in a school bag: it has a tough build that Dell tests against drops and spills, and its small 11.6-inch size makes it easy to carry. Chrome OS starts in seconds, updates itself automatically and has built-in virus protection, so there is little to maintain. It works with Google apps such as Docs, Sheets, Classroom and Meet, and with web apps and Android apps from the Play Store on supported models. It is an excellent, affordable choice for students, schools and anyone who lives in the browser.

Using and Caring for It

Sign in with your Google account on first start so your apps, bookmarks and files sync automatically. ChromeOS updates itself in the background, so restart the Chromebook now and then to apply updates. Save files to Google Drive or an external drive, keep the vents clear and wipe the screen with a soft, dry cloth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I upgrade the memory or storage?
Upgrade options differ between configurations, so ask Vsonic before you buy if you plan to add RAM or a bigger drive.

Can a Chromebook run Windows programs?
No. A Chromebook runs Chrome OS and web apps, not Windows software. If you need Windows programs, choose a Windows laptop.

Does it come with a warranty?
Warranty terms depend on the stock and the source, so contact Vsonic for the warranty that applies to your unit.
