Pride Home 5-Way Extension Socket with 2 USB (Black): Overview
The Pride Home 5-Way Extension Socket with 2 USB (Black) gives you 5 power sockets and 2 USB ports from a single wall outlet. It suits TV corners, home offices and shop counters where several devices share one power point.
Features and Benefits
With 5 sockets and 2 USB ports on one unit, you can power a TV, decoder, laptop and phone charger from a single wall outlet instead of swapping plugs. The 2 USB ports charge phones, tablets and small gadgets directly, so you do not need separate charger plugs. It is an extension socket and not a dedicated surge protector, so pair it with a surge protector or stabiliser for sensitive equipment. The black finish blends in with most rooms.
Using and Caring for It
Add up the power rating of everything you plug in and stay within the rating printed on the unit; heaters, irons, kettles and air conditioners should go straight to a wall socket and not on an extension. Keep it dry, do not cover it with rugs or furniture, do not plug one extension into another, and replace it if you see burn marks, a loose plug or a damaged cord.
