VBT Universal Extension Cable: Overview
The VBT Universal Extension Cable is a VBT extension cable with a universal-socket design. It extends your wall socket to wherever you need power and gives you extra outlets on the way.
Features and Benefits
An extension cable lets you place a TV, fan, lamp or charger away from the wall socket without moving furniture, which is useful in living rooms, bedrooms, shops and offices. The universal-socket design is a styling feature of the VBT range, and it gives the unit a distinctive shape on the floor or desk. Using a good-quality extension instead of an old, worn cord is also safer, because cheap cords can overheat.
Using and Caring for It
Check the rating on the cable and keep the total load within it, uncoil the cable fully before use so it does not heat up, and keep it away from water and from walkways where it could be tripped over. Do not run it under carpets or rugs, do not chain several extensions together and replace it if the insulation is cracked or the plug is loose.
