About the ZKTeco Fingerprint Access Control Device
This ZKTeco fingerprint access and control (A&C) device secures a door with biometric entry, so only enrolled people can come in.
Key Features
It is a standalone device that handles the identity check at the door itself. Access is granted by a fingerprint match, which removes the cost and risk of lost keys and shared cards. Authorised users are enrolled once and managed from the device or its software.
Where It Fits
Typical installations include store rooms, staff-only areas, workshops and the main doors of small offices.
Installation and Integration
Fit it beside the door at a comfortable height and connect it to the electric lock and power supply. Most ZKTeco access devices also offer connections for an exit button and door sensor, but check the interfaces on this model.
Tips for Best Results
Remove access for people who leave straight away and keep a record of who is enrolled. Enrol a backup finger for each user, and keep the sensor clean and dry for dependable matching.
