ZKTeco MDS100 Contraband and Smartphone Detector

A Contraband and Smartphone Detector

The ZKTeco MDS100 is a detector for contraband and smartphones, designed for sites that need to control what people carry in, such as prisons, secure facilities, examination halls and sensitive offices.

Why Detect Smartphones and Contraband

Hidden phones and prohibited items can undermine security, exams and confidential work. A dedicated detector helps staff find them quickly and consistently at checkpoints.

Where It Fits

Typical settings include correctional facilities, government buildings, exam centres, data centres and factories with restricted areas.

Use and Operation

Detectors like this are used at entrances and checkpoints, with security staff checking people or items as they pass. Ask Vsonic about operating procedures and training.
