About the ZKTeco ProMA Series
The ZKTeco ProMA Series is a standalone multi-biometric access control terminal, which works on its own without needing a computer to make access decisions.
Key Features
Standalone operation keeps installation simple for sites that want strong door control without a network. Multi-biometric identification combines several verification methods in one device, which improves accuracy and gives you more ways to enrol everyone in the organisation.
Where It Fits
Typical uses include staff entrances, secure floors, plant gates and school campuses where attendance and access need to be tracked together.
Installation and Integration
Mount the terminal at the entrance at a comfortable height, enrol users with the supported methods and connect the door lock. Attendance and access records are read through the terminal’s communication options, which you should check for this model.
Tips for Best Results
During enrolment, take clear samples for each method and record who has been enrolled. Offer a backup method for each person so that a single problem does not stop them entering, and review access rights from time to time.
Before You Buy
Specifications such as capacity, connectivity and supported software vary between versions of the ZKTeco ProMA Series. Ask Vsonic to confirm the exact version and specification before you place your order.
